A weakening Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to pass through the Leeward Islands and Northern Windward Islands today bringing storm force winds and heavy rains.

The Thursday morning Advisory puts Isaac at 15.4 North, 59.7 West or 105 miles (170 km) East of Dominica, and moving towards the West at 17 mph (28 km/h). This motion is expected to take Isaac across the islands later today and then across the Caribbean Sea over the weekend. The maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is expected today as Isaac makes its way through the islands, but gradual weakening is expected afterwards

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Dominica, Martinique and Guadeloupe, and a Tropical Storm Watch for Antigua/Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts/Nevis, Saba, St Eustatius, St. Martin and St Maarten.
