In 2013/2014 the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) together with the support from
Commonwealth of Learning (COL) trained twelve (12) Vanuatu Secondary School Teachers who specialized in teaching second chance students. In addition to the training undertaken, these specialized teachers were also trained to develop ODL Curriculum Text Books designed to meet all requirements and needs of ODL students.
In 2017, the Vanuatu Notesmaster Project was introduced. The project is supported by COL and has resulted in the creation of 563 open educational resources that are hosted on Notesmaster.
